Winter Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5pm (October – May) Summer Office Hours: Tuesday – Sunday, 9 am – 5 pm (June-October)

The public is welcome to take self-guided tours or simply enjoy wandering through the grounds during daylight hours.
Guided tours and self-guided tour maps are available. Please go to the Visitor’s Center upon arrival. For large groups or children’s tours, contact the SAW office prior to your visit.

Stay at SAW
The following rates apply to guests who are not participating in an Artist Program: $35/night for camping and meals or $50/night for room and meals
Day visitors wishing to eat are asked for a donation of: $5 Breakfast, $5 Lunch, $7 Dinner or $15 All Meals
Driving Directions
From Albany and points South Take I-87 North to Exit 14 (NY-9P and NY-29). Follow signs to NY-29 East. Follow NY-29 East until it intersects NY-22. Turn left on NY-22 North. Follow NY-22 until the first traffic light and make a left onto West Broadway. Follow West Broadway about a quarter mile. SAW will be on the right after you cross the railroad tracks.
From Saratoga Springs and points West Take NY-29 East until it intersects NY-22. Turn left on NY-22 North. Follow NY-22 until the first traffic light and make a left onto West Broadway. Follow West Broadway about a quarter mile. SAW will be on the right after you cross the railroad tracks.
From Boston and points East Take I-90 to Exit B3 (NY-22). Follow NY-22 North until you reach the town of Salem, NY. At the traffic light, make a left onto West Broadway. Follow West Broadway about a quarter mile. SAW will be on the right after you cross the railroad tracks.
