Letter From the Director
Dear Friends of SAW,
We have reached a goal that I have always imagined as possible, “the coalescence of the 90 parts.” For many years now, I have envisioned that SAW is comprised of 90 moving parts running at different rates, levels and temperatures.
It is my belief that if we are able to marry, merge and crossover these seemingly discordant parts, Salem Art Works will become a self-perpetuating entity. Existing on its own terms, SAW constantly allows for interfaced collaboration and for an atmosphere where people and their ideas can evolve beyond seemingly set limitations and boundaries.
These core, structural underpinnings are comprised of the deep commitment of the people who have taken part in this organization’s development since its inception.
All efforts, energies and support greatly affect the perpetuation of our mission and the continuing health and future of our shared endeavor.
Please take part in the many wonderful things that we have to offer you and visit this unique and unprecedented destination here in Upstate New York.
Sincerely,
Anthony Cafritz
Executive Director
